Established in 2024 and headquartered in Balasore, Odisha, AMIT BEHERA FOUNDATION is a Section 8 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting social impact through education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, art, and environmental sustainability.
From empowering local artists and supporting deserving students to promoting healthier communities and encouraging entrepreneurship, our initiatives are designed to foster inclusive growth. Today, we are expanding our mission by developing innovative oil absorbent solutions that contribute to cleaner industries and a healthier environment.

AMIT BEHERA FOUNDATION was born from the vision of Amit Behera and a dedicated team of changemakers committed to bridging societal gaps. What began as a mission to empower youth, promote education, and preserve Odisha's rich cultural heritage has evolved into a broader movement for sustainable social transformation.
Today, the Foundation proudly expands its impact through a new environmental initiative focused on combating oil pollution with innovative absorbent products. By combining research, technology, and community engagement, we aim to deliver sustainable cleanup solutions that protect ecosystems and create a cleaner, greener future.

Environmental Sustainability

Oil contamination is a silent but deadly environmental threat affecting soil, water bodies, and human health. Our foundation is leading a green initiative to design oil-only absorbent products including:
- Clean spills - Clean future
These products are made from recycled materials and designed to selectively absorb oil without soaking up water. Perfect for use in industries, refineries, ETPs, workshops, and contaminated lands.

Blood Donation Camp
- Successfully organized a voluntary blood donation camp encouraging community participation and supporting local healthcare services.
Birth Anniversary Celebration
- Celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Amit Behera at the Amit Behera Auditorium.
- Featured a spectacular Baripada Chhau dance performance by the Baripada Chhau Academy.
Independence Day Celebration
- Celebrated India's Independence Day with patriotic programs, flag hoisting, cultural performances and community participation.
- Promoted unity, national pride and social responsibility among citizens.
Amit Behera Smruti Divas
- Organized a free Health & Eye Check-up Camp in collaboration with LV Prasad Eye Institute.
- Served more than 120 beneficiaries.
- Conducted a Blood Donation Drive collecting 20+ units of blood.
